I didn’t like it. Unless it’s a first Friday, you won’t find Kansas City Pug Mahomes shirt people on the street walking anywhere. There is absolutely zero public transportation (there’s a train now that basically runs 5 stops but it’s not very useful). You absolutely need a car to go anywhere. Including bars. The museums are nice though, and Starlight theater brings super cheap Broadway musicals and concerts, and there’s ballet and opera… if you have a car. But, basically, without a car you’re stuck. Going to the airport would have been 20 minutes driving for me, but talking public transport would have been up to 3 hours. There’s now though, if you get lucky and they work in your area… The cost of living is super cheap, but don’t be too enticed by that, because salaries are proportional… Houses are big and people seem very happy and proud of that… There’s stuff to do, but you have to plan it way in advance.

I don’t see myself as a , but Google has made a large number of us whether they meant to or not through their ads, through the promises and through the opportunity. It was perfect timing, it was something that stopped people and made us talk about it. We’re still talking about it in fact, and while there is a lull in action (installation is still a few weeks out), we haven’t lost our anticipation.
